Style, simplicity, user focus, and attention to detail — it's all there in the work of 37signals. As an interface designer myself, I have the utmost respect for these guys.
— Malcom Ross, designer
If you are a driven, simplicity-loving web interface designer, HTML/CSS guru, and usability expert (yes, all of those in one person), we want to get to know you.
We also do a fair bit of research, writing, and heuristic usability reviews so insightful, objective analysis skills, writing skills and clear communication skills are a major plus. And, we don't have project managers so you'll be leading your own projects and interfacing with clients directly.
We're not concerned with your education — we're concerned with your experience. We don't want to see your resume, we want to see your recent work. Real world experience is where it's at. We'd prefer if you were in Chicago, but if you're the one, and you don't live in Chicago, we'll see if we can work something out.
If you, or someone you know, is the perfect fit for 37signals, email Jason Fried at work [at] 37signals.com. Inquiries without links (or screenshots) to web-based work will be ignored. We won't be able to respond to every email, but we'll do our best. We look forward to meeting you.
Get in touch and we'll deliver a proposal in a week or less.

And don't worry, we're a selfish bunch: We'll never sell, disclose, or trade your email address.
