Thsrs
thsrs

Thsrs helps you get briefer.

If only there were a service that helps with the struggle of rewriting a 146-letter message to fit in a 140 character limit. Well now there is: Thsrs, the thesaurus that only gives you synonyms shorter than the word you’re looking up. Just enter one of the longer words in your message, and Thsrs will suggest shorter words to use instead.

Posterous
posterous

Posterous, a Tumblr-like service, lets you post things online fast using email.

You can attach any type of file and we’ll post it along with the text of your email. We’ll do smarter things for photos, MP3’s, documents and video links.

Lohse
The Richard Paul Lohse site has pretty colors.

thsrs.com is very clever, i’ve never had the specific need for shorter synonyms, but now that its been supplied, I will demand it. definr.com is another great tool, standard dictionary, stripped of anything extraneous

Thanks so much for the link to posterous! It’s fantastic to see our name on the Signal vs. Noise blog. I’ve been a huge fan for so long, and we couldn’t have done it without Rails. So, to 37signals, thanks for everything. -Garry, cofounder, posterous.com

thsrs.com, or How To Write Like Ernest Hemingway.

I think everyone should just copy posterous in creating accounts. You send an email to signup@website.com, and it replies with a password, and gets your name & email from your email. Voilia, instant account creation (and one step email validation too!) A lot better!

37signals affiliate program US only … aw shucks and there was me singing your praises… http://www.mybarnconversion.com/2008/03/24/project-management-basecamp/

Any chance of us on the other side of the pond taking part and getting a piece of the T26 action?
