Breathtaking.

what’s more impressive is the fact that this is not a tree that grew like that unassisted. There was a gardener that force it to grow like that.

Japanese gardeners are amazing in what they create. Looking at a 500 years bonsai in Happo-en garden in Tokyo and realizing that it probably took some 25 generations of gardeners to take care of it… is stunning.

Peter: Absolutely. What an art.

Ah, the Portland Japanese Garden. Even more beautiful when you break in at night.

Even more stunning if you click on the image and get the full version with color profile intact (use Safari or a “fixed” Firefox)

Great photo, when it was first loading I thought it was a photo of a maple at Royal Roads University here on Vancouver Island my good Friend Dan Anthon.

Even more stunning is I came across this image last night on interfaceLift and thought the same thing. Crazy!

Beautiful. Given recent financial stresses at my company, I’ve promoted this image as my desktop image and find it quite soothing :-) Helps keep the focus on the positive things and current blessings in life.

Wow. Really incredible.

Anyone have a version large enough for a 2560X1600 resolution?

I know there’s a link back to Flickr, but wouldn’t it be nice to give the photographer proper attribution? I think they deserve to have their (user)name mentioned.

What an awesome God we serve. I’ve been looking at clouds too lately. Beautiful white puffs that float around in the heavens. Genius. I can’t help but admire a design like that.

Call me cynical but I see someone pushing the saturation in photoshop. Not that it’s not a nice tree, it’s just that it doesn’t really look like that.
