From a usability standpoint, that YouTube screen is great. Instead of freaking out that the site is down, it leaves you feeling like something new and better is on the way. Better than the usual “Check back someday, because we’re too stupid to know what’s going on”.

It’s irritating they can’t spell though. The plural of formula is formulae…

“Book” and “books”, “game” and “games” are really separate tags? Seems as if their time would have been better off spent on coding out plurals than improving aesthetics. And why is “DVD” lowercase and “CD” upper?
There’s also the problem that it seems the emphasize the length of the tag more, when it’s only the height the represents the popularity.
