In my opinion clutter are the excuses that create drama and prevent you from dealing with the real issues & problems you have to solve.

Is this from his book On Writing Well? It’s one of my favorite books. I can’t look it up because I keep lending my copies to people and never get it back.

Right, I agree clutter is the arch nemesis of progress and efficiency.
As a student of GTD , clutter is what causes stress and inefficiency. The sooner you can get the physical clutter straightened out and the mental cluter out of your head, the more organized you’ll be.
I’ve personally dedicated sundays to being the day where I do a weekly review and a brain dump. Its mentally invigorating.
I recommend everyone try it.

Along the same lines, in my observation – Buzzwords are used by those who do not fundamentally understand what they are saying. To hide their ignorance behind a veil of jargon.
Only those who have a clear deep understanding of the subject can answer questions in the simplest language. No pretenses, no clutter, no buzzwords, just simple naked truth.
