We’re all meeting in San Diego this week:

@Adam I LOVE the Oaked Bastard. Ruination is damn good also. I am a huge IPA fan.
(meaning that I like to drink big beers. Not that I am 10 feet tall or anything)
Meanwhile, I am waiting impatiently on my copy of Rework…

We don’t have Intelligentsia, but we do have Bread & Cie and Caffe Calabria. Despite it’s name, Extraordinary Desserts is terrible. Heaven Sent Desserts, however, is quite nice. Edward’s beer recommendations are spot on. The best place to eat is George’s at the Cove. The food actually eclipses the view. How do I know all this? I’m a lifet time Chicagoan trying to find his epicurian way as a new San Diegan. Great weather, great outdoor activities, but food in general? Meh, not so much.

Glad to see that you are in my hometown! I love the 37signals gang and everything you guys produce, you are a spotlight for us and how we think internally.

Where did you guys have your meeting? As a freelance here in San Diego, I’m always on the lookout for good meeting space and you guys have good taste. :-)
