@jamis: One thing running has taught me is that real change comes slowly, and that’s not a bad thing.
@dhh: Awesome visualization of the first five years of Ruby on Rails commits: http://bit.ly/bRdrSd
@jasonfried: Money doesn’t make you smart, it just makes you rich.

@asianmack: It’s easy to go overboard with fancy CSS and JS just like it was easy to go overboard with fancy Photoshop filters in 1997.
@rjs: I snuck a peak at “HTML5 for Web Designers” and it is short, pithy, fun and exactly fits the bill http://bit.ly/awMW5G
@uptonic: It’d be nice if Twitter included the person’s bio in their new follower emails, when available.
@jamis: I’m really loving the iPad as a writing platform. Using @mywritingnook and liking it, for the most part.
@rjs: Bullet lists with more than seven items probably shouldn’t be bullet lists.

Sweet race, DHH . Were you driving a Porsche, as well?

I dunno, i’m kind of a fan of money. I think it gets bad press.

I have to agree with jason. It’s about how one earned the money that determines if their smart or not. That being said, a smart person can inherit money, and be smart by using it wisely. An idiot can spend it badly, and end up in debt.

Could you please keep this fucking stupid twitter shit out of your blog? Or do you really think, this bullshit provides even a tiny amount of value to your readers?

At Jamis’ suggestion, I gave My Writing Nook a whirl. It’s a sweet piece of software. I like how the page has a list of features followed by a note from the author saying why he created it. Feels very personal.
