It’d be interesting know if those cucumber balls have any flavor or if they’re more like the tapioca balls found in boba drinks.

Cucumber is very subtle in its flavor, think cucumber soup. If they are actually made from cucumber and not just some artificial flavoring.

I imaging the liquor taste will mask the cucumber completely.

There are quite a few gins which actually have a subtle cucumber flavor.

Take Hendrick’s for example…it’s made with roses and cucumber mash. I’m sure that would only be accentuated by this preparation.

For the record – best bubble tea in Chicago: Joy Yee. Get the taro milk tea. Best in the universe: Bubble Island in Ann Arbor.
