Quoted by Jamie on April 14 2011:

Advertising is as close to a performing art as it gets in business. And as any dancer or actor or singer will tell you, even the most brilliant careers are riddled with booby traps, things that can blow a dream apart worse than a Claymore mine in a shopping mall. Advertising is like that. There will be times when it tries to dishearten you. Discourage you. Break you…

Love the triumphs. Love the disappointments. The ups and the downs, the sweet and the bitter … Whether it comes to life or not is up to you.

Inspirational article by Ernie Schenck about a career in Advertising. Can be applied to what you do too.

This must be in reference too Jason Fried getting fried from the Board of Directors of Groupon immediately after he approved those horrible SuperBowl ads.

Good one Vicky!

Vicky, nope. I shared the article because I like the idea of taking a long view on work and life in general. I thought you would like that insight too.

@Vicky… I thought those super bowl ads were pretty good. But, apparently we live in a world of hyper sensitive people. Just think of the debacle WKRP in Cincinnati would have today releasing live turkeys from a helicopter on Thanksgiving day.

Anyone who increases the number of Christopher G. works in the world has done a good thing.
