REWORK passes 200,000 copies sold! David Jan 26

22 comments Latest by Thomas Zacchi intoto

We just got our royalty statement from Crown and are pretty excited about the fact that we’ve sold over 200,000 copies of REWORK now. About three quarters of the sales have been hardcover books with audio and ebook splitting the remainder.

Thanks to everyone who helped us get here by buying and recommending the book. We are very grateful for your support in getting the word out.

Is that worldwide?

I bought it and it’s fantastic. Gave a copy to my boss and he enjoyed it too!

Congrats! Arguable the best “business” book I’ve ever read. Very disruptive. If you want to get a debate going bring up a chapter title from ReWork….”Meetings are Toxic” go! :p

I know I’ve sold a few copies for you by recommending it, do I get a commission?

Great job!

Anders 26 Jan 12

Agree with SomethingOn, great book! I own two, audio + hardcover. :)

Nick 26 Jan 12

I got it from a torrent site. Can’t be bothered to read it but will happily give to my friends should they want a copy.

Jimmy Chan 26 Jan 12

When your next book is published? :)

Chris 27 Jan 12

Started reading my copy this week. Really enjoying it so far.

Ben Kinnaird 27 Jan 12

No, thank you guys for writing the book and well done on the sales.

Not only have we found the book inspirational, useful and challenging but we give it away to clients so they understand how we work and may in turn get value from it

Great work guys!

You sold that many copies because it’s a great book :)

1) You’re welcome, thank you for opening my mind. 2) When your next book is published? :) @Jimmy Chan

Congratulations! Rework is one of my favorite business books and I only have a few that I keep reading over and over again. Rework is one of them.

When I first got my hardcopy I read through it in one evening, then giving it to a couple of friends until I couldn’t find my copy anymore. The book went on to circle and I got the Kindle version aswell.

After a half year or so someone gave the hardcopy back to me, so I can finally read the hardcopy again. I never read a business book that was so much down to the point with simple yet effective tips to follow, thanks for that.

Congrats!! One of those is mine, all the way here in South Africa! It’s a great book. Look forward to your next one :)

I just ordered this book. Hope it’s going to help me finish the project.

Sinclair, actually this is only US sales. I think we probably have another at least 50,000 sales internationally. I remember seeing that we’ve sold 30,000 copies in the UK.

Mike Suarez 27 Jan 12

Thank YOU guys. Looking forward to the next one.

Will there be a paperback version coming any time soon?

Great! It’s really an amazing and wonderful book. I’ve purchased a kindle version and I’ve read several times till now. It inspired my working life and carrier.

Great book, “read” it as an audio book several times. I’m an international customer but bought the book in the US so I guess it’s hard to keep track of sales :-)
