How to end a Backpack calendar event with a number
Any number at the beginning or end of a calendar entry will be parsed as a time. So, in this case [“Midterm 1”], Backpack thinks the 1 indicates 1 o’clock. There’s a workaround though. Use “Midterm 1.” — with a period.

Does this seem like a band-aid on the problem to anyone else?

Finally, the use of giant type pays off :) But how many support requests are you guys going to end up fielding now that senior citizens are going to be using your products? If they’re anything like my mom, you guys might need to start scouting for some call center space in Bangalore…

I see the mention of using Backpack for ‘Getting Things Done’...In the ‘Ask 37 Signals’ spirit I wondered after taking a look at newcomer Taste Book (recipes online) if it would make sense to use Backpack to keep recipes online, draft a weekly menu from them and then produce the shopping list that goes with it.
