I lived in Chicago for 7 years and I think that 2:30 speech pretty much summed up Chicago politics.

Does anyone have that speech online of Daley at an emergency press conference after the Loop’s ComEd substation blew some years ago? There were these maroon curtains behind him, and he eventually grew so angry that his face matched their color. It was extremely monumental.
