That’s hilarious. I had to something similar when I got SAML working in ruby/rails. A video demo of single sign on to music. :) But this is much better done.
Don’t we all live and breathe for moments like that… :-)

It was fun—I need to add some background music to my apps :)
Estigy01 Oct 09
You guys are really crazy :-D
Daniel01 Oct 09
You guys really need to put some easter egg in there, so something awesome happens, when a final checkbox is checked – the visuals are a little anti-climactic compared to the soundtrack :-)

WOW …. Did anyone go all hominid and fling a bone in the air whilst you were at it? Pretty awesome. I wish my job encouraged me to be that awesome at the completion of task.
there’s a ton beneath the surface of this video. his project was only 23 items. he completed it a full 4 days before the milestone, finishing several per day. the tasks are short and sweet, with no crazy explanations or instructions. nice model, and nice example of eating your own dog food. inspiring.

And have you bought the rights to use this copyrighted music in an official 37signals video? I can hear the RIAA knocking on your door already….
GeeIWonder02 Oct 09
Ok. THAT was funny.

What a disappointment. The moment I opened the post, I thought “oh nice, a minute and a few secs of video, that’s proper 37sig style, short and to the point, let’s see what they have to announce”...

Herraro G. 01 Oct 09
The time spent making this could have been better spent on other things…like not spending time on this.

@Adam: Lay off the coffee dude. It makes you irritable.
Mark Bell 01 Oct 09
Excellent :)
I don’t think I’ve ever ticked the last item off before – people just keep adding things in just as I get there…
Kevin Haggerty 01 Oct 09
You should integrate this feature so that the music plays when you check off a last item…
Stupid video, and funny at the same time…

Vojto 01 Oct 09
Oh he didn’t click it. That’s kind of thing that drives one crazy.
Marcus 01 Oct 09
If the last item was checked and the project is complete…Why does it still say “add item”?
Jason 01 Oct 09
I wept. Like any movie I have ever sat through, it is an idealized version of reality that I can never hope to attain.
Bravo.
Matt Smith 01 Oct 09
Watched it twice.
Too funny not to!
Mike 01 Oct 09
Not your best twitt

@Adam – I can’t believe that I wasted 15 seconds of my day reading your cranky comment wherein you displayed your complete lack of a sense of humour.
I also can’t believe that I took another 30 seconds to post this reply. I guess the Internet just brings out the dick in me.
(subsequent posters are welcome for the blatant wisecrack setup above)

It’s the moment of moments! Well worthy of immense celebration.
