Eric 01 Oct 09

Nice.

Sebastian 01 Oct 09

Can I get a refund for a minute of my time that I just wasted?

Chris Free 01 Oct 09

that was pretty awesome.

Herraro G. 01 Oct 09

The time spent making this could have been better spent on other things…like not spending time on this.

Anonymous Coward 01 Oct 09

All I can possibly say is wow. WOW .

dan 01 Oct 09

I did a fist pump with you at the height of the music.

Zarathrusta 01 Oct 09

sehr gut!

Seth 01 Oct 09

Geeks…

Gregor 01 Oct 09

hahahaha this is best practice for sure

Adam 01 Oct 09

Jesus christ people, STOP BEING DICKS ON THE INTERNET .

Take responsibility for your own time and if you don’t think something’s worth it then certainly don’t spend 30 more seconds of your obviously precious-as-all-hell time writing a goddamned comment to tell us all about it.

For fuck’s sake.

cssbit 01 Oct 09

very nice .. not like my account on basecamp :)

shane 01 Oct 09

Worth every second.

Kevin Kaske 01 Oct 09

LOL ! That was the best thing I have seen all day. Very Funny!

Dan 01 Oct 09

Brought tears to my eyes. Congratulations!

Sam 01 Oct 09

remarkably dorky. in the best way possible.

Pascal Laliberte 01 Oct 09

Completely hilarious. Loved it.

condor 01 Oct 09

nicely done. does that mean the oct 5 launch is proceeding as scheduled?

Herraro G. 01 Oct 09

@Adam: Lay off the coffee dude. It makes you irritable.

Mark Bell 01 Oct 09

Excellent :)

I don’t think I’ve ever ticked the last item off before – people just keep adding things in just as I get there…

Kevin Haggerty 01 Oct 09

You should integrate this feature so that the music plays when you check off a last item…

Stupid video, and funny at the same time…

Dave M 01 Oct 09

I watched it TWICE because the types of projects I work on are never finished.

Nate 01 Oct 09

That’s hilarious. I had to something similar when I got SAML working in ruby/rails. A video demo of single sign on to music. :) But this is much better done.

Philip 01 Oct 09

Thanks for only completing one project. Otherwise I would have spent all day watching that video.

Don Schenck 01 Oct 09

Loved it.

Justin 01 Oct 09

click it… click it… CLICK IT !! WOO

Vojto 01 Oct 09

Oh he didn’t click it. That’s kind of thing that drives one crazy.

Marcus 01 Oct 09

If the last item was checked and the project is complete…Why does it still say “add item”?

Jason 01 Oct 09

I wept. Like any movie I have ever sat through, it is an idealized version of reality that I can never hope to attain.

Bravo.

Matt Smith 01 Oct 09

Watched it twice.

Too funny not to!

Mike 01 Oct 09

Not your best twitt

John 01 Oct 09

@Adam – I can’t believe that I wasted 15 seconds of my day reading your cranky comment wherein you displayed your complete lack of a sense of humour.

I also can’t believe that I took another 30 seconds to post this reply. I guess the Internet just brings out the dick in me.

(subsequent posters are welcome for the blatant wisecrack setup above)

Kahlil Lechelt 01 Oct 09

It’s the moment of moments! Well worthy of immense celebration.

Espen Sae-Tang Ottersen 01 Oct 09

That was epic!

Don’t we all live and breathe for moments like that… :-)

Doug 01 Oct 09

+Adam

It was fun—I need to add some background music to my apps :)

Estigy 01 Oct 09

You guys are really crazy :-D

Daniel 01 Oct 09

You guys really need to put some easter egg in there, so something awesome happens, when a final checkbox is checked – the visuals are a little anti-climactic compared to the soundtrack :-)

AP Mags 01 Oct 09

WOW …. Did anyone go all hominid and fling a bone in the air whilst you were at it? Pretty awesome. I wish my job encouraged me to be that awesome at the completion of task.

Anonymous Coward 01 Oct 09

Lame

Alex 01 Oct 09

Guys, don’t ya have something else to do…..

Rasmus Seidler 01 Oct 09

That’s suspense!

Elixon 01 Oct 09

I watched it twice and I want to watch it again! Man, that was awesome!

Jeff 01 Oct 09

Hey! What the hell just happened to all my contact import files?!!

Adam Fitzgerald 01 Oct 09

This didn’t excite me, but good call Adam (above). I’m only commenting to give you props :)

Angus 02 Oct 09

wow.. that’s 1:17sec i won’t get back.

jason 02 Oct 09

there’s a ton beneath the surface of this video. his project was only 23 items. he completed it a full 4 days before the milestone, finishing several per day. the tasks are short and sweet, with no crazy explanations or instructions. nice model, and nice example of eating your own dog food. inspiring.

Olli 02 Oct 09

And have you bought the rights to use this copyrighted music in an official 37signals video? I can hear the RIAA knocking on your door already….

GeeIWonder 02 Oct 09

Ok. THAT was funny.

mlokas 02 Oct 09

What a disappointment. The moment I opened the post, I thought “oh nice, a minute and a few secs of video, that’s proper 37sig style, short and to the point, let’s see what they have to announce”...

What a waste of everybody’s time…

Andrew 02 Oct 09

err, he needs to get out more …

Ro 02 Oct 09

I laughed!

EH 02 Oct 09

Couldn’t it have been further divided into mousedown and mouseup scenes?

SN 02 Oct 09

It bought a smile to my face thanks.

Harry 03 Oct 09

Hillarious!!

Neil 04 Oct 09

Now if you go ahead and build that into Basecamp…. well…
