David’s 2008 Startup School talk
Another trip to the archives. This time we listen to one of David’s most popular talks. At a conference largely dedicated to talk of venture capitalism, he discusses how you can grow a company without looking for funding. Along the way, he explains the story of Basecamp and how 37signals has grown as a company. (We’ll be back with brand new content on the next episode.)

My personal favorite. Should be required listening for all startups. Meds for the mass-delusion that is the ‘give away everything for free’ model.

I’m a long time user of 37signals products and reader of the blog and I really love your take on things. I have a site teaching language using podcasts, audiofiles, audiobooks of interest at www.LingQ.com. I think many of our English learners would be very interested in learning English from the 37signals podcasts.

Would you allow us to transcribe and post these on our site? If you like, we can make the transcriptions available to you.
