It is only a matter of time before we have a periodic table of periodic tables.

table
The Periodic Table of Irrational Nonsense.

table
The Periodic Table of Mad Men.

table
The Periodic Table of Swearing.

Also, the Periodic Table of Awesoments. [via JK]

Update: There already is a table of tables! [thx DG]. Internet, I was foolish to doubt you.

Don’t forget the excellent Look Around You periodic table.

This is Awesome!

The best book I’ve read this year is called ””The disappearing spoon” It is a fantastic book about the periodic table and the history behind the discovery of the known elements. I could not put this book down, and even most that don’t like science will love the stories about the scientists who discovered this stuff.

BTW , the disappearing spoon was a practical joke concerning a spoon made with the only element that has a melting point above room temperature and below hot tea. Read the book for more.

Long live the periodic table!

And here’s a more easily navigable version of the Periodic Table of Periodic Tables: http://www.keaggy.com/periodictable/

But my favorite is the Periodic Table of Typefaces: http://www.behance.net/gallery/Periodic-Table-of-Typefaces/193759
